In recent years, the global refrigeration industry has increasingly adopted high-efficiency, low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerants; R32 and R410A have emerged as the mainstream choices for residential air conditioners, heat pumps, and commercial refrigeration equipment. Compared to traditional R22 systems, these next-generation refrigerants impose more rigorous demands regarding system operating pressures, compressor discharge temperatures, and thermal cycling conditions, thereby presenting new challenges for the reliability of piping connections and vibration-damping components.

 

Public industry data indicates that R32 models accounted for nearly 80% of my country's residential air conditioner market in 2024, a figure that continues to rise. Concurrently, high-pressure refrigerant systems typically operate at higher pressures and experience more frequent pressure pulsations; furthermore, the vibration loads generated during startup/shutdown, defrosting, and variable-frequency operation are increasingly complex. Consequently, products designed solely to dampen vibration and reduce noise are no longer adequate to meet the comprehensive requirements of modern refrigeration equipment regarding long-term sealing integrity, fatigue resistance, and operational safety and stability. The situation is even more pronounced in overseas markets, where certain countries impose stricter requirements for refrigeration systems.

 

For refrigeration equipment manufacturers, the focus of vibration damper selection is shifting from merely "vibration reduction capability" to "performance stability under conditions of high pressure, high-frequency vibration, and prolonged thermal cycling." As a result, factors such as material composition, welding processes, pressure resistance, and quality validation protocols have become critical determinants of system stability.

 

In practical engineering, technical personnel frequently encounter a recurring issue: even after installing vibration absorbers labeled as "high pressure," leaks, pipeline fatigue, and even weld cracking still occur. The reasons often lie not in the insufficient nominal pressure of the product, but in three dimensions that are easily overlooked: whether the material is compatible with the chemical properties of high-pressure refrigerants, whether the sealing structure can withstand frequent thermal expansion and contraction cycles, and whether the factory inspection truly simulates the operating pressure conditions. These issues are difficult to reflect in standard product parameter tables, yet they directly determine the stability of refrigeration vibration absorber during its service life.

From structure to inspection: a comprehensive engineering solution covering the entire process

In response to the aforementioned issues, Honway Engineering Shenyang Co., Ltd. has launched the refrigeration vibration absorber, which addresses the practical needs of high-pressure refrigerant systems in product design. The product utilizes a deep corrugated stainless steel bellows with a high-strength steel wire braided layer structure, with both ends TIG welded to stainless steel ferrules and secured by a high-pressure clamping machine, ensuring the refrigeration vibration absorber maintains structural integrity under high-pressure conditions. Internal limiters can be added to the connecting ends to provide a more reliable sealing interface and reduce leakage rates, maintaining stable sealing under high-frequency vibration and alternating cold and heat conditions. 


Each product must pass two independent tests: helium leak detection and hydraulic pressure leak testing, covering all verification needs from micro-sealing to macro-pressure bearing. The product's maximum working pressure ranges from 13 bar to 44.8 bar, and its working temperature range is from -40℃ to +120℃. It has obtained UL and CE certifications and supports OEM customization for length, elbow, bending angle, and flare nut.
