Professional-grade natural refrigerant vibration damping solution: Honway's All SS Vibration Absorber is designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern refrigeration systems, especially suitable for carbon dioxide (R744), ammonia (R717), and high-pressure R410A systems. Unlike standard copper-end vibration absorbers, our all-stainless steel construction ensures a leak-free, corrosion-resistant solution for transcritical and subcritical cycles.
Maximum Operating Pressure: Varies from 60 bar (870 psi) to 20 bar (290 psi) depending on connection size. (High-pressure custom models up to 120 bar are also available for transcritical CO2 systems).
Operating Temperature Range: The CO2 Vibration Absorber is suitable for temperatures from -40°C to +120°C, maintaining excellent ductility and strength under extreme thermal cycling.
Materials: Bellows, braided layers, and ferrules are made of high-grade SUS304/316L stainless steel.
Testing: 100% helium and hydrogen leak testing ensures absolute sealing.
Compatibility: Fully compatible with R744 (CO2), R717 (ammonia), R410A, and other natural/synthetic refrigerants and their matching lubricants.

Q: Why are the maximum operating pressures varying from 60 bar to 20 bar?
A: In refrigeration systems, as pipe diameter increases, the allowable pressure typically decreases to ensure a safety margin. Our smaller sizes (1/4” to 7/8”) are rated at 60 bar, while our largest industrial size is rated at 20 bar. However, for CO2 systems requiring higher pressures, we offer custom-designed enhanced products.
Q: Can these absorbers handle the risk of "dry ice" in CO2 systems?
A: Yes. We chose SUS304/316L materials precisely because of their cryogenic performance. Even when the system experiences rapid pressure drops leading to low temperatures, they remain robust and durable, avoiding the "cold brittleness" common in inferior materials.
